These golden, savory herb biscuits are fluffy, full of flavor, and completely gluten-free.   • 2 tbsp ground flaxseed + 6 tbsp warm water flax “egg”
  • 2 tbsp unsweetened coconut yogurt or plain almond yogurt
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning or dried parsley/oregano mix
  • 1 tbsp nutritional yeast optional, for cheesy flavor

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the flax egg by mixing ground flaxseed with warm water in a small bowl. Let sit 5–7 minutes until gel-like.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together almond flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and nutritional yeast.
  • Stir in the flax egg, yogurt, and apple cider vinegar until a dough forms. The dough should be slightly sticky but scoopable.
  • Scoop onto the baking sheet and bake for 20–22 minutes, until lightly golden. Cool before serving.
