Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups blanched almond flour
- 2 tbsp ground flaxseed + 6 tbsp warm water flax “egg”
- 2 tbsp unsweetened coconut yogurt or plain almond yogurt
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning or dried parsley/oregano mix
- 1 tbsp nutritional yeast optional, for cheesy flavor
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the flax egg by mixing ground flaxseed with warm water in a small bowl. Let sit 5–7 minutes until gel-like.
In a medium bowl, whisk together almond flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and nutritional yeast.
Stir in the flax egg, yogurt, and apple cider vinegar until a dough forms. The dough should be slightly sticky but scoopable.
Scoop onto the baking sheet and bake for 20–22 minutes, until lightly golden. Cool before serving.
