Homemade Granola
This Homemade Granola recipe includes old fashioned rolled oats, walnuts, almonds, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon and a pinch of salt.

Ingredients
- 3 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup mixed nuts such as almonds, walnuts, and pecans, chopped
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon optional
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats and mixed nuts.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon (if using), and a pinch of salt.
- Pour the maple syrup mixture over the dry ingredients and stir well to evenly coat the oats and nuts.
- Spread the granola mixture in an even layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for about 20-25 minutes, stirring halfway through, until the granola is golden brown and fragrant. Keep an eye on it to avoid burning.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the granola cool completely on the pan sheet. It will continue to crisp up as it cools.
- Once cooled, transfer the granola to an airtight container for storage. It can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
