Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, these jicama fries are a wholesome, low-carb alternative to traditional fries. They’re perfect for snacking, game days, or a healthy side with bold flavor!

- 1 large jicama about 1.5 lbs, peeled and cut into fries
- 1 tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Creamy Chili Lime Yogurt Dipping Sauce
- ½ cup unsweetened plant-based yogurt coconut or cashew works well
- 1 tsp lime juice
- ½ tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Pinch of sea salt
- Optional 1 tsp maple syrup for a touch of sweetness
- Blend together
Prep the Jicama (for both methods):
Peel and slice jicama into fry-shaped strips.
(Optional for softer fries) Boil jicama in salted water for 10 minutes, then drain and pat dry thoroughly.
Air Fryer Method:
Preheat air fryer to 400°F.
Toss jicama fries in a bowl with seasonings of your choice.
Air fry in a single layer (work in batches if needed) for 18–22 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden and crisp on the edges.
Oven Method:
Preheat oven to 425°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Toss jicama fries with seasonings and spread in a single layer.
Roast for 35–40 minutes, flipping halfway through for even browning.
Optional Seasoning Blends (Choose One or Mix & Match):
1. Classic Garlic & Sea Salt

Add: ½ tsp extra garlic powder + ½ tsp onion powder
2. Cajun Kick

Add: 1 tsp Cajun seasoning + pinch of smoked paprika
3. Chili Lime Zest

Add: ½ tsp chili powder + ½ tsp lime zest + 1 tsp fresh lime juice after baking
