- 1 cup raw cashewssoaked in water for at least 2 hours
- 1/2 cup nutritional yeast
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp turmeric
Instructions
Drain and rinse the soaked cashews.
Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
Taste and adjust seasoning, if needed.
Pour the cheese sauce into a saucepan and heat over low-medium heat, stirring constantly, until heated through.
Notes
Great for dipping, pouring over veggies or pasta or pizza! Add 1/2 can of original Rotel drained for an extra kick of flavor! My favorite is to use it on baked potato! Enjoy!
