  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • In a large pot, sauté the onion and garlic until softened.
  • Add broccoli and vegetable broth; bring to a boil. Simmer for about 10 minutes until the broccoli is tender.
  • Stir in the peas and cook for another 5 minutes.
  • Blend the soup until smooth, and then return it to the pot.
  • Stir in almond milk, lemon juice, salt, and pepper before serving.
