Ingredients

  • 1 head Cauliflower cut into bite-sized florets
  • ½ cup gluten free flour
  • ½ cup Almond Milk unsweetened (any plant based milk)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup hot sauce such as Frank's RedHot or your favorite brand

Instructions

  • Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the Batter: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, almond milk, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  • Coat the Cauliflower: Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring it is well-coated. Shake off any excess batter and place the florets on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the cauliflower is golden brown and crispy.
  • Add the Buffalo Sauce: Remove the cauliflower from the oven and drizzle the hot sauce over the baked bites. Toss gently to coat the florets evenly.
  • Return to Oven: Place the coated cauliflower back in the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes to allow the sauce to set.
  • Serve: Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy these spicy cauliflower bites with a side of celery sticks and your favorite plant-based ranch or dipping sauce.
