Creamy Italian (Parmesan style) sauce
Ingredients
- 1cup plant-based non-dairy yogurt (I used Almond Based Yogurt plain)
- 3tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 1teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2teaspoon salt
- 1/4teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4teaspoon dried basil (optional)
- 1/4teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
- 1tablespoon tamari (optional)
Instructions
- 1In a blender combine the non-dairy yogurt, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, dried basil (if using), dried oregano ( if using ), and tamari (if using).
- 2.Blend until everything is well combined and you have a fine, crumbly texture resembling parmesan cheese.
- 3. Taste the sauce and adjust the seasoning as needed.You can add more nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, blackpepper, or tamari according to your preference.
