Creamy Italian (Parmesan style) sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 1cup plant-based non-dairy yogurt (I used Almond Based Yogurt plain)
  • 3tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 1teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2teaspoon salt
  • 1/4teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4teaspoon dried basil (optional)
  • 1/4teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
  • 1tablespoon tamari (optional)

Instructions
 

  • 1In a blender combine the non-dairy yogurt, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, dried basil (if using), dried oregano ( if using ), and tamari (if using).
  • 2.Blend until everything is well combined and you have a fine, crumbly texture resembling parmesan cheese.
  • 3. Taste theĀ sauceĀ and adjust the seasoning as needed.You can add more nutritional yeast, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, blackpepper, or tamari according to your preference.
